1. Service

SpareFob duplicates condo access fobs, garage remotes, UHF parking tags, and cuts house, condo, mailbox and high-security keys. Service is provided at 151 Yonge St 1180- 11th floor, Toronto. Walk-ins welcome during posted hours; same-day for most jobs.

2. 1-Year Warranty

Every fob copy, key cut, garage remote and parking tag we sell carries a one-year warranty against defects in materials and our workmanship. If your copy fails within 12 months of purchase — won't read, intermittent, broken hardware — bring it back with your original receipt and we will repair or replace it free.

Warranty does not cover: damage from drops, water, or extreme heat; loss or theft; changes to your building's access system that obsolete the credential; or copies altered by another locksmith.

3. Refunds

Refunds are issued only when we cannot make a working copy. Once a copy is made, programmed and tested, it is non-refundable. Custom OEM fobs are non-refundable once written.

If you are not satisfied with a service, tell us before you leave the shop — most issues are fixed on the spot.

4. Price-Beat Guarantee

Show us a competitor's current advertised price or receipt for the identical service (same brand, same encryption, same scope) within the Greater Toronto Area and we will beat it by 20%. Online-only or out-of-province quotes do not qualify. Limit one match per customer per service.

5. Payment

We accept cash, debit, credit, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Pay cash and we cover the tax on most services. All prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude HST unless otherwise stated.

6. Authorization to Copy

By engaging our service you confirm that you are authorized to copy the credential you bring — that is, you own it, lease the unit it accesses, or have the owner's permission. SpareFob is not liable for unauthorized copies you request.

7. "Do Not Duplicate" Keys and Restricted Keyways

"Do Not Duplicate" stamps are not legally binding in Canada. We will copy any key for the property owner or authorized tenant. For restricted high-security keyways (Medeco, Mul-T-Lock, etc.) we require proof of residence — lease, utility bill or building letter.

9. Limitation of Liability

SpareFob's total liability for any claim is limited to the price you paid for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or lost-opportunity damages, including lockouts caused by a defective copy.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
